I haven't really painted anything or explored that creative realm, except for one assignment during my 2-D Class in college. One night, I decided to ditch the computer & computer mouse for awhile and pick-up watercolor pencils and a paintbrush. This is my very first painting. I really didn't have a plan on what to do, so I decided to start out with something really simple - a flower. Besides the watercolors, I used a graphite pencil for the bold outlines and a black pen for the details.

I can see why people like to paint. It is relaxing and calming...different from designing something on screen, then printing it out. Here's a close-up:

I think I'll try painting more for my future projects. Stay tuned!
